Switch Facilities & Data Center Support

Take responsibility for the on-going support, maintenance, performance and uptime of Switch Facilities and Data Centers.
Monitors, installs, and manages systems and network infrastructure within the Data Centre

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain data cabling and associated documentation within the Switch Facilities and Data Centers.

• Monitor power draw, ensure the proper upkeep of UPS and air conditioning systems.

• Manage physical access to Switch Facilities and Data Centre facilities and racks.

• Ensure that the Switch Facilities and Data Centers are kept neat and clean and in accordance with best practices and MIC Lost Prevention Standards.

• Actively contribute to processes associated with the Switch Facilities and Data Centers.

• Actively ensure compliance with the relevant rules governing HS&E.

Position Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Information Technology- Systems / Computer Sciences-Engineering, Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.
• 1-3 years experience in a simillar or same role
