Technology or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.

Perform specified health laboratory jobs under close supervision and take care of instruments
and equipment in the laboratory

3. POSITION: HEALTH LAB. TECHNOLOGISTS II (10 Positions)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or its equivalent from a recognised Institution.
BASIC DUTIES
Carry out, independently, specified routine medical laboratory duties which require a higher
degree of technical knowledge and skills.

4. POSITION: ASSISTANT MEDICAL OFFICERS II (3 Positions)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Diploma in Clinical Medicine or its equivalent from a recognized Institution AND
must have been registered with Tanganyika Medical Board (under Cap 409), with at least FOUR
(4) years relevant working experience in a similar position.

Attend to general out patient and in-patient clinics

5. POSITION: GRADUATE NURSING OFFICER II (6 Positions)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognised University/Institution
and must be registered with Nurses and Midwives Council of Tanganyika.

Provide quality nursing care to patients

6. POSITION: NURSING OFFICER II (11 Positions)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Form IV/VI certificate with Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
BASIC DUTIES
Supervise Health Attendants/Nurse-Midwives in line with nursing ethics and general nursing
services
Salary Scale: PMGSS 5
7. POSITION: NURSE/MIDWIFE (15 Positions)
Required qualifications
Holder of Form IV certificate plus a Nurse/Midwife certificate or Public Health Nurse
Certificate, or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
BASIC DUTIES
Administer drugs and treatment as prescribed by the Medical Officers and provide health
education on family planning, nutrition, vaccination, sanitation and child spacing.

8. POSITION: PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN II (4 Positions)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.

Carry out dispensing duties and responsibilities including Pharmaceutical Production i.e.
compounding/manufacture under supervision of senior staff.

9. POSITION: HEALTH RECORDS TECHNICIAN (2 Positions)
Required qualifications
Diploma in Medical Records Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
BASIC DUTIES
Open and maintain inpatients and outpatients files and their up-to-date register.

10. POSITION: MEDICAL OFFICER (30 Positions)- ((Nephrologists, Physicians,
Anaesthesiologist, General surgeon, Orthopaedic surgeon, Urologist, Cardiologist, General
practitioners,)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Holder of a Medical Degree from a recognised University plus successful completion of
internship period of one year in one of the consultant hospital and has provisional registration as
a Medical Officer with the Tanganyika Medical Council.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake all medical duties pertaining to internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and
gynaecology, paediatric diseases and preventive medicine

11. POSITION: TECHNICIANS (for MRI, CT SCAN, X-RAY, FLUOLOROSCOPE,
MAMORGHRAPH, test) ULTRA SOUND, PFT, CATH LAB, ECHO, ECG, TMT (Trade Mill

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Holder of Form IV/VI certificate with a relevant Diploma, (NTA Level 6), FTC, City & Guilds

To conduct and supervise repair and maintenance of medical equipment
