Applications are invited for Joey Leong Coventry University London
Scholarship for October 2018 entry. The scholarship is available to all
self-funded Malaysian students applying for undergraduate courses for
October 2018 entry.
The Coventry University is leading UK University which is ranked
No.15 amongst the UK universities. The Coventry University is the top
university for student satisfaction. This university is forward-looking,
modern university with a proud tradition as a provider of high-quality
education and a focus on applied research.
In order to obtain a Tier 4 student visa, applicants are required to
demonstrate that they have the correct level of English language
competency to study in the UK. The requirements differ depending on
whether they are applying to study a Foundation or Pre-Sessional English
programme or those who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate
degree level.
Scholarship Description:
Applications deadline: July 14, 2018
Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue Undergraduate programme.
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to all self-funded Malaysian students applying for undergraduate courses for October 2018 entry.
Scholarship Award: Successful applicants will
receive the first year fees of a Coventry University London three year
undergraduate course. The scholarship will be awarded by means of a full
fee discount for the first year of study.
Nationality: Students from Malaysia are eligible to apply.
Number of Scholarships: A total of one award is available.
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
Eligibility for the Scholarship:
Eligible Countries: Malaysian students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
Entrance Requirements: Allocation of scholarships will be decided on assessment of the following;
Available to self-funded Malaysian nationals only
Academic requirements: Pass the STPM with a minimum of BBBB OR pass
the UEC Senior Level with Grade A2 or above (80%) in at least 5 relevant
subjects, not including English or Malay (students must also provide
Junior Level transcript or certificate)
English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 to 5.5 minimum in each component.
Submit a 500 words statement on how you plan to use your skills to contribute to Malaysia’s economic growth
Complete and submit the scholarship application form by the deadline
