The Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies – Columbia University’s
centre for the academic study and discussion of Jewish life, history,
and culture – has long been a national and international leader in the
field.
The candidate should have a very good command of English language. Therefore, the application should be written in English.

Scholarship Award: IIJS Israel Fellows will be awarded
an amount up to $1,000 in support of their business-related internships;
academic and/or research-based projects; immersive language programs;
and/or university-offered courses.

Eligible Countries: US citizens are eligible to apply.
Entrance Requirements: To be considered for funding:
Applications must provide detailed information about the program
being sought. At the time of application, admission or offer need not be
finalized, but the Institute must receive certification of such by the
hosting institution before the funding can be delivered.
Applicants must spend, at a minimum, four weeks in Israel over the course of summer 2018.
